Sure, Twitter disappointed with earnings on Tuesday, but co-founder Ev Williams believes the company is currently “on a roll” where product development is concerned.
Over the last few months alone, the social network has rolled out numerous new features, tweaks and updates, including group messaging and video this January, a revamped homepage and retweet feature in April, and stricter anti-harassment policies.
Williams credited Twitter’s SVP of Product Kevin Weil, who previously led product and design, and Alexander Roetter, who became head of engineering last May, for taking the company’s talent and “harnessing” it. Read more…
