Milan Fashion Week is upon us, as of Wednesday. Founded in 1958, it’s the second oldest fashion show in the world after New York, which presented its first collections to the press in 1943

Sadly, our Italian friend doesn’t always get the love that it deserves, often getting lost somewhere amidst New York’s influence, London’s disruption and Paris’ artistry. Milan sits at an unfortunate, circumstantial crossroads where jet lag and waning interest intersect
